Westfield Century City offers a Los Angeles escape, nestled amidst acres of open space and beautifully landscaped outdoor plazas. This premier destination seamlessly combines award-winning chefs and culinary experiences, landmark events and entertainment, multi-faceted health and wellness services, public art installations, and cultural programming—all in one place. With over 170 stores, 61 dining experiences, a cinema showcasing 17 feature films, and versatile event hosting spaces, it stands out as a unique urban retreat.

The vibrant selection of fresh food and restaurants at Century City includes notable establishments like Eataly, Din Tai Fung, Javier’s, The Crack Shack, Petros, Tocaya Organica, Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse, Sweetgreen, and SunLife Organics. The emphasis on health and wellness is evident with offerings beyond Equinox, featuring a Caudalie Paris spa, a UCLA Health Clinic, Gloveworx boxing and athletic performance studio, a full-service doctor’s office called Forward, the wellness clinic Next Health, and fitness hubs Peloton and Orangetheory Fitness.

Designed to host a variety of events, the Atrium space accommodates concerts, food festivals, movie premieres, film screenings, fashion shows, and charity events.

Originally acquired by Westfield in 2002, the site underwent a significant refurbishment in 2017. The Westfield Century City Redevelopment project achieved LEED BD+C: Core and Shell v3 Gold certification in August 2018. This $1 billion project expanded the mall with the addition of a second story, introducing more restaurants and new performance and gathering spaces. The mall remains an open-air venue, featuring newly constructed Macy’s and Nordstrom stores and additional parking. Additionally, a Purple Line subway station is under construction adjacent to the project.

All About Waste (AAW) collaborated with ZC Sustainability and Gensler Architects to achieve the LEED certification. Our comprehensive services included the development of a Construction Waste Management Plan, execution of waste generation calculations, design of waste signage, and recommendations on waste equipment and infrastructure. Through these efforts, Westfield Century City has been reimagined and redeveloped to thrive in a rapidly changing retail environment, emphasizing sustainability and an enhanced visitor experience.
